Because the tunnel guys weren’t there LOL. Bring it to the tunnel champs. You win there you definitely can bring home bragging rights for sure.  Anywhere from 20 to 25 boats per class with some of the best tunnel racers in the country definitely deserves the title “tunnel champ” for that class.  I hope you and Jay are doing well. Hopefully will see you at the races soon!!!

Brandon, Nelson parts are still around. But to be truthful Drake's Nova was faster than the Nelson on the same boat with the same set up and pipe when Ron and I tested it and the Nova didn't break as many parts.

my old version STOCK nelson runs pretty good, BUT I Agree with Gabe for power, Nova is much nicer and sooo much power.

I remember that race in 2012 well.  Just a wide open rocket with no throttle, WOT, and we had to wait a little bit for it to run out of fuel as you had no way to bring it back to the dock.  It was a minor miracle that you keep that thing going for a 6 laps.  When you had that thing going like it was then there was no 45 tunnel that could ever keep up with it.  Your challenge was to get it going that well and finish running and that was a real challenge.
