    Spec FE boat racing..

My opinion...the intent... 1.) Affordable 2.) Readily available specified motors 3.) Fun speeds and great competition 4.) Challenging: boat set-up and prop work required Spec and in the past (stock) are not entry level classes. To make one really sing requires considerable skill. The Spec...

Record Trial, Flint MI, May 1 & 2

Thanks to the FAST guys (Terry, Mike and Mikey) for another great time. Not terribly fond of the Michigan weather  but it was great to see the guys again. Gary, Wally, David, and Tyler from California! Some fast boats for sure! I'll be back in the fall to run the big water again...

    IMPBA rules question

Terry, If you want to see its potential to evaluate the design, regardless of cut-outs, nothing is stopping you from running it as a 'hydro' in Flint. If you want, I'll run it for ya. Steve

    open hydro?

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. The boat in the video is 45" long; 4" inside tub width. I designed the boat specifically to carry 10S2P LiPo payload. This required a change in the design for a FE hull. The LiPo's I used were FlightPower 30C 4500's (mAh) packs. 2-4S packs, and 2-6S packs...

One of FE's colorful character's. I first met Ron at the Florida Namba FE Nats a few years ago and we last met at the Chris Harris Hydro Shootout last October in Sanford, Florida which he organized with Chris Harris. He loved FE thats for sure. He was outspoken on many issues he felt passionate...

    Large rigger

Pierre, I agree completely with Jay. My 10S rigger was designed around the 30 series lehner motors. At 45" long and weighing 16lbs it is not a light weight boat. It does however handle heat race water extremely well. It does 80+ with the right prop on it. For heat racing high 70's is usually...

1978 Miss Tri Cities (Mark & Pak)

Looking for any photo's anyone might have for this hull. Specifically looking for any close up shots of the cowling. In the photo's I have there appears to be lettering before each flag. If anyone has built this hull, I wouldn't mind a pic ot two of your model. Thanks for any help. Steve
