    New mounts are in, its a 2mm strip of carbon with brass inserts i printed a new and stronger batterytray and esc mounts aswell

    I got the old inlay out, and everything sanded. I added a strip of 200g fiberglass in the keel and over the seams. I glassed the motormounts and added them after the inlay with 200g carbon Im really pleased with the result so far, now to get the other hardpoints in

    Thank you Liberty! I thought it was just the batterytray that broke, turns out it lifted the inlay(so i guess my prep was bad) so its a full rebuild now I started pulling out the old mount and some of the carbon lifted so its all coming out 🥲🥲 It will be back stronger than before

    I got it to run! it did 126 kph after crashing. broke the batterytray loose but its an easy fix so it will be out again soon!

    Sometimes the teflon does not fit perfectly and it leaks between it and the brass tube ive had that a few times and its fixed by just adding some tape to the outside of the teflon I hope you find a good solution, leaks suck

    I cant tell you if its any diffrent than a round bottom one as its my first boat with a strut but it does work

    FINALLY!! i have been on the strugglebus trying to get the boat to run rigth and i finally got it figured out. the list of changes and ilterations is so long that i will just skip that and show what ended up working the trimtabs got chopped to 44mm. i swapped the TFL stinger to a RCMK strut...

    I built the boat around a 28% cg it just wants to hop, no matter the settings on the strut, trimtabs, or without trimtabs. moving the batteries forward has given some improvement, but we will see how it runs next time out with them as far forward as possible.
