Hi building my first boat. A gas T-boat, looking to buy a used stock g260 plum motor. Must be in good running order.
thanks

I have to build a large cowl for my new hydro. I was thinking about carving it out of foam and the using fiberglass cloth and using finishing expoy. When I checked at the lhs they had a white type of foam. At the building supply store they had both a blue and a red type of foam. Has any one done...
Hi all. I'm trying to put a 20lb motor into a 5 lb box. What I need for a Zenoah g260 motor is:
Center of the spark plug to very out side of the carb?
Center of the spark plug to the very out side of the pipe? (don't know what pipe I need but it has to tuck in very tight to the motor)
Bottom...
First 1/8 scale build. I have plans from Roger Newton for a 1993 U-6 Frosted Flakes. Does any one have some pictures of them building this type of hull
I would like some pictures to look at as I build. Pictures of the frames right up to when you put the deck on would be nice. I have spent days...
Yup read there rules, that works for me too. I read about a club that runs 1/4 scale Crackerboxs with stock homelites only. No hell for speed but is the racing ever tight. I like that's it's more about the driver then who has the best motor.
I was thinking about a class for the newer kind of scale type hydroplanes, max 55 inch with stock Zenoah engines. What do you think? Sounds like fun to me.
I have been looking into gas hydroplane. I have been looking into Classic Thunderboat rules and it says the hull must be a Round nose or Step deck or Chisel nose. I know what a round nose type is but the other two? I have been looking at Roger Newton plans and like the U-6 1993 Frosted Flakes...
