    Hudy Break In Bench Question

Thank you all for your input! Since I have the stand I will use it and follow your guidance on break in.  I will run a few tanks on the bench watching the temp, then put it in the boat and run it on the water.

    Hudy Break In Bench Question

I received a Hudy break in bench as a gift and since I can't make it to the pond as much as I would like, I figure it is a good way to get the initial break in runs on the motor at home out of the boat.  This unit is primarily designed for car motors, as it is setup to use a car pipe.  For those...

    JAE 21 Rudder Question

My .12 is the same way, that is why I am asking about the .21. You may be right, maybe it has something to do with speed and slippage.

    JAE 21 Rudder Question

I am not questioning the designers at all, I am just wondering why not use boom collars instead of drilling and bolting the sponsons on the tubes? Wouldn’t it allow for quicker boom changes, toe in adjustments, etc.? Just curious.

I have attached an image of the rudder I got from ZippKits and I am wondering if you leave the bottom of the leading edge rounded or should I square it off before sharpening? As it sits now, the rudder is about 1 5/8”-1 3/4”...

Mike, I thought about servo horns, but yes, they rotate and snap into place which I like.

WTB Carl Goldberg Flat Hold Downs #463

Brad, I like to use them to hold down the rear of the cowl. They work well for this application. I thought about magnets, but I have a magnetic power switch so I dont want any other magnets on the boat.
