    K&B Front housing orientation

    Hello, The front housing has a flat spot on it , should the flat spot be facing towards the bottom or top of engine? I posted a picture of the part. Thanks.

    Piston orientation on K&B 7.5 inboard.

    Putting back together a K&B 7.5 inboard. Forgot which way the piston faces. This piston has the teflon plug for the wrist pin. Does the teflon plug side of piston face the intake or the exhaust side. I beleive it faces the intake (carburetor side). If you put it facing the exhaust port side...

    Thank you for the reply. Do you have a pic of the parts? Was going to ask about the part numbers. The K&B parts sheet shows the piston/sleeve as 8734 and the connecting rod as 9097(this rod has a diameter of .218") Don't know if that is what you have . There were two different diameter...
