A 3/4" thick layer of high density foam is cut & formed to the top of the cowl. The edge facing the scoop is cut at an angle for smooth air flow through the cowling. A 1/2oz. layer of 'glass will be added over the foam and the entire inside of cowl will be painted black later during the painting process.
