Well Chris Wood was right, this turned out to be quite easy. After sanding the outside of the stuffing tube & spraying it down with WD40, it went right past the curved section of the 'glassed in shaft log with little effort. Once that was in place the rear section was trimmed & sanded, then coated with red Locktite & the strut blade installed.
