In this pic you can see the dark areas where I just added the heavy weave carbon cloth cut to match the flat areas of the cowl. A sheet of wax paper is laid on the deck where then cowl will sit, then the cowl gets taped down firmly in place while the West Systems applied carbon cures. This does two things, it greatly strengthens the cowl & also will hold the curve in the cowl to match the deck.
