I really didn't want to do this but I just couldn't stand how it looked. The trailing edge of the canards were over 1/2" thick but the leading edges of the canard flaps were just under 3/8" & the more I looked at it the more it bothered me as the excess was all on the top side. Granted most probably would have been able to let it go but I just couldn't so out came the Dremel & the cutting wheels.
