Notice the scale machined on the rear face of the dyno housing. The large pipe at the top is the water outlet. The hub holding the center shaft bearing has its shoulder stepped outward & fits precisely (.0001 clearance) in the housing's rear half. This is also done on the housing's front half. Both hubs are doweled pinned for location. The hubs are held in place with 8, 6-32 screws. Bearings used to support the main shaft are R-8, ABEC-3, ceramic type.
