I do not have a large enough mill or drill press to drill the water exit hole. I improvised and used my lathe. The lathe is a 8x14. The carriage travel is enough to get a long drill bit in. The rudder blank was held in the quick change tool post. Worked great. Used a 3/32", 135 degree, split point, 6" long drill. Shallow cuts with frequent clearing of chips.
