Strut angle is flatter with this new boat, the long shaft tube allows better adjustment of the depth and angle, the strut can be removed with out breaking the bond of the tube to the hull. A larger tube is glued into the hull that the 1/4 inch shaft tube slides thru allowing it to be removed if needed.
