crankcase, crankshaft, & piston fixtures 020.jpg

Once the rotary table has been centered, a .375 dowel pin locates the fixture on the rotary table with the piston on center. To use this fixture, piston blank OD's must be the same size & the correct size to ensure centering. The machined groove, on the left of the fixture, allows the re-location of pistons after removal for skirt machining operations. The piston's wrist pin hole now becomes the zero point for location.
