I used the motor mount holes to locate the template and double sided carpet tape to help secure it to a side piece. A laminate trimming bit with a top bearing is used to cut the sides to the template. Finally got a "real" router table (Bench Dog) after years of using an MDF topped homemade version, made a lot of stuff on that old unit...
