Which blue head? 98-99 or the newer version?

if its for the Latest Blue head 8mm Crank w billet piston that is a EXR 45 motor I have it.. the Older 7mm Crank Blue head 1998 was a NON EXR Blue head 45. You will have a very hard time finding any parts for the 98 era engine.

I was cleaning out some boating stuff this past weekend,
and I found a whole box loaded with older P-45's. I will bring
it to the race along with a propeller for Olly.

Looks great, is this what they call the "8mm" crank motor? Just before the Blackhead?
I'm sure Jimmy will see this, I'll let you guys take it from here...

That is the 98 motor. I do have a decent sleeve and a brand new rod. No piston. FYI You can have someone make a new piston and fit it if you would like to rebuild it.

THis engine is going to be hard to find parts for. 98 era engine w 7mm PTO. He needs to update, Parts for this will be difficult. Sad thing is... they were Screamers.................It has a 7mm crank and a cast piston, is he SOL?

would these "1998" Picco P45's out-perform the later versions (ie. "2011" blue-head/black-case) ?they were Screamers.................It has a 7mm crank and a cast piston, is he SOL?

All I can say about my Blackhead is still running very strong in my .21 SG (1999) mainly in a vintage encounters .....I have two new ABC's,RPM rods but no crankshaft so when it dies it will decorate my workshop. Gill

Thanks to Ron "Jr." Jefferson we got Jimmy a piston and a couple of rods to keep him going.
