Picked this up at a estate sale .no markings at all who built it .just blueprints from newton a writen note from roger newton about hardware companys .did he build boats or just sold plans ? The work on this boat is amazing and its very light .also does anyone make a front cowling i could adapt. Also came with pics of the redman boat but the drivers compartment is painted up for budwieser
if it's wood it was probably built from the newton 101-6740 plans. probably built by a newton plans customer.
if white colored glass, epoxy or polyester, it might be a steve muck hull.
if dark greenish brown epoxy glass it might be a troy macintire hull.
if light green epoxy glass it might be a steve cluck, or bill fritz hull or a phil thomas hull
see newton marine web site plan list 101 for karelsen hull photos
the real karelsen low profile oval bow unlimiteds did not run front cowls
that rear cowl with "rocket style" head rest has markings for the 1970 budweiser II U13
use a molded resin 1/8 scale dummy merlin engine kit from larry kraemer with the existing cowl for scale appearance
or ask phil thomas about a set of jones style round nose front and rear cowls that can be adapted to fit this hull
great looking hull, good luck
