The AMA is a great organization . I have been a member since 1981 , I will definitely write a letter concerning the regulations . One may say FAA , RC Airplanes ??? Well the whole Homeland Security deal and the technology that is available to put an unmanned airborne vehicle ( UAV - Drone ) in the air to carry out an act of terrorism is a real threat . Lots of regs might come down the pike as to where you can fly in terms of proximity to Govt. offices , power plants etc .

I have not flown in many, many years, more then most of you have been around. Just rejoined AMA and the article in March Model Aviation on page 18 has me confused, what's the problem in layman's terms????
