sweet, thanks Jerry. Cant wait to get this beast on the water! Next weekend this will be the motor that gets run. I hopefully will have my hull all straightened out by then, and be able to run it like I stole it!

also, am I safe to run 45% with this Jerry? I know alot of the TT guys run lower nitro, what do you recommend?

45% is ok, TimD in Oz is having good results with 50%, I run 60 to 65%, but any of that

will be fine.

Maybe Tim can offer some advice, It's got a .18cc button, .010" sleeve shim

.008" headspace with 182deg exhaust port timing, raised boost port, 65deg ATDC inlet closing.

Whata'ya think Tim?

Wha,, gawd,, we posted 1 minute apart Tim,,,, Slidey, ya ol' cod licker, how ya doin'

Mine runs best on K&B 1L plugs, and likes small diameter / higher pitch blades. As Jerry said, the X637 would be a good choice to start with. Reduced diameter (38mm) X640 or X642 are also well worth trying.

I can't remember how many I have cut-out like that, makes them look a little sexier

over that "Evinrude look" they have with the muffler.

Marty, wont ahve it this weekend, but will next. I probably wont be running this weekend, as I dont have any fuel nor plugs, and my tower shipment wont be here in time. Anyhow, it will be out next weekend, on the TS2 if I get the damned hopping worked out.

It's almost done, if you look closely at the header spring where it connects to that Gawd awfull

"ring" that holds that type of header on (Dynamite part#DYN6602) You will see that a little

more aluminum has to removed from the back side of the lower in that area so it will go up level.

This is one of the areas that (if anybody wants to modify them) has to have a "U" shaped

relieved (ground out) area to give clearance for the "cup" on the header. It will also have

to be relieved in the back side of the "PTO",,, I'll have pics ready for "aussieboater" concerning

the cut-out areas.

Sweet man! Cant wait to get my hands on that beast!!!!

Rodney, I did notice that the Dynamite header gasket is a bit on the whimpy side,

I don't know how long it will last, so I would copy down that "DYN6602" part# for

the header and find some replacement gaskets(silicone).

That has to be a good seal there or you gunna lose some snoose from that engine,

or any engine.

I normally use the Ofna header (Manifold,.21 W/Spring,Polished,, part#31991)

and they also have a "black" colored model for the "GP" engine, I guess

The Ofna has a much thicker gasket and it don't have that "ring" that i can't stand.
