Glenn big thanks to you, Donna, and John for making speedWeek amazing. You really are a gentleman and I know just how much everyone appreciates your hard work and

dedication to make this such a great event. FYI those were the best sandwiches I have ever had in my entire life. Thanks again, Jeff

I would like to congratulate and thank Mic and Jay Halbrehder for their help and friendship as well as setting the bar so high on their new world records! Congrats!

Glenn, between the thrashing, retrieving, arguing, rebuilding, and repeating, we had a BLAST!

Top notch event with even better people. You and John put on a heck of a time to be had and we learned a ton! Can’t wait for next year!

Compliments to the chef for lunch each day we were there, and thanks to all those who dropped some tips and tricks while we were there!

congrats to Martin (Sorry me and Jr. missed ya man!), Team Haines, Mic/Jay, Miss Donna, Jeff and anyone else I’m missing on their records. Awesome job y’all!

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Well SpeedWeek ‘19 is now complete! We had an awesome time with an amazing group of people! To say we had good weather would be the understatement of the year...out of the 9 days we only had a few hours that were not glass smooth.

I am submitting 13 record applications to Brad...congratulations to all the boaters that were able to break some very good records! I will post a list shortly.

Sounds like you put on another great Speed Week! Please post some pics of the boats when you have time. I would love to see your current 12 rigger and if there are any pics of Martin's??? As well as the other boats. I loved that video you put up of Martin's 2 lap record run. Thanks for all of the updates you posted on IW. They inspired me!

Thanks to Glenn and Donna for hosting this event. Also John Beardsley and others who attended, helped out and supported. Met some new friends and saw others we don't see often enough. We had a great time and set a couple records to ice the cake. Plus broke a bunch of stuff.

Ouch! The life of a SAW boat...

Congrats to everyone who got a record. I would love to attend next year!

Thanks to Glen and Donna for spending practically 2 weeks of their year to do this event.  We couldn’t ask for better hosts.

Thanks to John for all of his help with the event and being a helping hand in whatever anyone needed.  And to Jason who is there almost as long and probably has the coolest toys there.

Good to spend time with people who share the same passion for a hobby as myself. There is so little ego and more comrade then I could express in this post.  I went up for 2 days and stayed for 5. Learned a bunch and always do.

Met some new friends and cool people.

And yes i beat that .21 rigger!!! Lmao

As a suggestion....for those on the fence about participating or spectating. Come on out. Meet some people. Understand there is a lot of thinking and working happening during the event. There is good times and not so good times for questions. But there is time. Weather and wind windows can be small. Some days not much happens, but if you haven’t seen a 110 mph 21 rigger barely on the water making a pass, you haven’t seen awesome.

Thanks again to all who made this a awesome trip. Including a cpl friends who  are supportive who didn’t go.

Thanks to Glen and Donna for another great event. Thanks to John for the help and Jason for the videos

It was nice to see old friends and make new one. Hope to see Yuall at Huntsville and other races.

Glenn, Donna, and John,

Great time in Valdosta last week, thanks for all the hard work putting on such a great event. I have been plowing snow ever since I got home on Saturday evening. What is really incredible is what you can learn at a time trial event. Seeing all those fast boats really makes me want to go visit John down in Sarasota so we could keep testing. Danny King was sure a nice guy to meet down in Georgia, and I hope to be back next year a little more prepared and stay most of the week instead of just a few days.

 Thanks To All Who Came,

Mark Sholund
