Vintage Dumas Miss Thriftway 1/2a Cox powered, 2 ch rc hydroplane with Cox Engine.
I have a NOS working Proboat 2 ch radio (JR Python "TX/RX") I can throw in for an additional 15.00 but I am sure you all have radios.
$250.00 pick up in person or shipping available, shipping weight is 4 pounds without radio I will split the boat and sell the cowl for $150.00.
Located in Kenton, Ohio 43326
Engine is smooth and turns over, and is exhaust throttle. The engine has sat for a while so even though it turns over the normal "For lack of better words" is a bit tight from fuel/oil but just needs to be run to loosen it up.
Driveline is smooth and free turning. Metal drive shaft is straight and true.
Rudder is also solid and free turning.
Being a vintage engine and driveline both should be checked over.
(I did not attempt to start the engine)
The plastic prop's drive dog section is missing, the drive pin in the driveshaft is present but will need a new prop. See last picture.
Paint is two part epoxy but do to the vintage age the paint is starting to crack but wood is solid as far as I can tell.
There is one spot on the deck where the wood is slightly weak from a crack, "The wood is cracked but not all the way through" this is near the cowling and most likely from pinching the cowling into the hull. I do not see any water damage to any part of the hull and the seems true. All wood decking and inner spars and underside are flat and true. Please see pictures.
about 17 1/2 by 7 at widest point of deck.
Selling AS-IS. Boat will be packed perfect. Not responsible for damage in shipping. Insurance claims will be made on your end.
