Slide carburetor

Hey, guys...just wondering if anyone knows of a way to fit an engine with a slide carb in a JAE 21 hull.

It would be hard to do this I think, however a bell crank setup COULD work maybe. Best to drop that slide carb.

Yep,,, Bell Crank on a 90* piece of aluminum on the tub side. Used to have to do it with the "OLD" CMB 21's

I actually think slide carbs work better. Just really don't fit in boats

I agree the slide is better... not not in boat setups. I guess you could make some side mounted radio box in a mono or a CAT boat but as far as riggers go the slide carb is a pain.

I Still think a Zoom carb is hard to beat.

And if you can't get one the Orlic is the next choice.

Both excellent choices for our boats.

Slides are for cars and playgrounds.
