No matter how safe technology has made motorsports, and has done an incredible job i must say, the human body can take just so much....i have no doubt he was doing what he loved....i feel so sad for his son.

Another one taken to young, Allan Simonsen (34) crashed at 24 hour at La Mans. Died from his injuries.

Always sad to hear whn a racer dies doing what the love....r.i.p peace to all that have passed from there passion of raceing...leffler even drove a few races here in iowa and at hawkeye downs at the local track....
