don't go in the water alone
Brian, I hit a retrieve boat once but it wasn't my fault, honest. The retrive boat was painted camo. 1/8 atlas had the strut set too deep, rudder too short and I can't drive. Lost 1/3 of the left sponson 1/2 of the canard and 1/2 of the nose(and the retrive boat didn't even have teeth). That was 20 years ago and my first 1/8. The 1/8 scale was rebuilt in 2 week's and it's still a family member(just refurbished this year with some new servos , radio, and carbon fibre reinforcements at stress areas). No retrive boats were harmed in this story, those welded Gregor hulls are TOUGH. I'll be moving up to your neighborhood in about 3 years when I retire-you might consider welding or riveting some .060 alum. doublers on the hull before that. Glenn
