It appears to have the same 6mm crank pin that the OPS 80 needle rod engine used. I never saw that pin break in the 80, but I question weather it would hold up under the force of that BIG piston if the engine made any REAL power.
 
Ops has been back doc far as I know I dont know if theres a us distributor or not.
 
HendicX are any on the guys on your side running these? I love that mono in the avatar buy the way what is it?

Supposedly Jerry De Young, of south Florida, is in the process of becoming the new U.S. distributor of OPS engines. In addition he will be working with the factory in Italy (now owned by Mantua Model UK L.t.d.) to upgrade their current line of marine engines:

OPS have been making engines ALL the time.

This "bimetal" 90 have Jan Kronstrand become european champion with in offshore at Orosaza 2009 (Pre WC 2010).

Before someone test it and compare you can only wonder if it works or not............
