I want to again thank all the competitors which make this NWC one of the best Nitro racing events of the year! All of the sponsors gave generously and hopefully were selected for certificate redemption by those who received awards. Also, thanks to those who assisted in turn judging. Just to name a few, David Prodoehl, Mark Bullard, the Canto's, Rod Hendricks, Danny King...we do appreciate all who helped.

Big thank you to Brandon Model Boaters for all the support. Gregg Rowe handled all the entries and bookkeeping. Ron Drake with the help on the CD stand and coordination the event planning. Lastly, but most importantly Ralph does an amazing job pit bossing. He keeps things moving smoothly. Lori Rowe also filled in pit bossing when Ralph had races or boat work.

Lunch Saturday was cooked by Sy Bocock with his wife Lisa. Additional assistance came from his boys and Derrick Morse getting those steak sandwich orders correct.

Lastly, Chad Grannis provided outstanding effort keeping the Tough Guy Race Team ready for the next race. 13 boats is a handful when teaching two new rc boat racers and keeping the CD gremlin free. We only had one boat with a terminal failure.

Hey, thanks for putting on the race

I took 1st in sport 20 , 40 and scale.
Stealth sport 20 was running great 3 first in qualifiers and 2 in champ rounds.
Stealth sport 40 was having problems qualifying, getting lap penalty or hitting a palm bark taking me out of two of the races qualified 5th.
Recovered in the Champ rounds taking a 2nd behind Andrew Capaldi and a first in round 2, good for the first place. Andrew cut a bouy in r1 that cost him the win, shows just how hard it is, dont mess up a race.
Scale Timex won two first in the Champ rounds for the first place.
