My wood Eagle SGX is 5lbs 8ozs ready to run.

My new carbon fiber boat came in 5lbs 10ozs and that is because I used 8lbs density foam on the sponsons as that was all I had at the time.

If you boat is CF it should be lighter than 6.5lbs ready to run.

I read manual scale line not 100% average 5.5 to 6.5 but I will buy digital scale 100% this weekend

Do that I believe your scale may be off. The weight is good at the 6.5lbs but I think with a good scale it should be lighter.
