whats up guyz, i need to know the needle settings for a mac .67. if anyone can help me that would be great. thank you..

Needle settings depend on Nitro %, prop, pipe, and boat weight. As well as which needle you're using. Just start ariund 3.5 turns out and then tune by running. I'm not trying to be a smart a$$, but just adding a little cup to the prop will change the needle, the same with changing from 60% to 55% to 45% fuel.

thank you bro's. this motor is in my wild thing, 42 inch custom. fuel 40%. prop prather 265.

That sounds like a lot of prop to be starting with. I myself would start with a 455 or 457 as a first prop. Has this engine been broken in or is it new?

new, and broke in.

X460 or cut down 462, or SD65 props would also be good choices to step up to. I think the X455 might be a little small for a 67, but then again, I run 50% Nitro......

McCoy MC-9 or O'Donnell blue will work well.
