been along road but to have the 1st 1 finished and ready for the water is a good feeling

Finally hit the water with it yesterday
needs some more setting up ,also weight of fuel causing some porpoising ,so need to move fuel bag abit ,also i got a rough idea now how much fuel its burning during race distance but ran well from bench to water with some setting up and fine tuning will come good

Two things....One, very nice work, love the way you kept the scale so accurate.

Two....is the person that says you are not allowed to have an exhaust pipe exposed, for health and safety reasons, the same person who allows the retrieve boat out on the course while boats are running?

The commitee of the club make the rules ,i could argue the toss but i just go and race and enjoy the racing ,when rescue crew on course just have to slow down for them ,couple of occasions the engine died on rescue boat and aas you can see went past bit quick on 1 occasion ,luckly managed to miss it

im making several changes to an extinct hull i used to race, similar to your project, copying a fullsize in glass covered foam for deck and cowl, and making changes to the running surfaces as well

seebold seems to be the most popular shape
