New 1.01 pipe design

Well after lots of talking and discussions with some very good people It has finally taken form.

Will be testing it here in the next few weeks.

Got my fingers crossed it will pan out.

It was made to fit over the thin wall CMB header or the CMDI billet tapered header.

I have the CMDI header to test with.

This pipe is a design me and Scott came up with.

After some discussions with Andy Brown and the design generated by Scott's program. I drew it out on graft paper this is the final design we came up with.

Scott is a great guy to work with. He is always willing to go the extra mile to try new things.

Will be at the pond this weekend to give it a try.

Great day of testing!!!!!!!!

The pipe works great!!!!!!!!!

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR's over the top with the big old H50 at 6.9 cup.

Throttles like butter and hold the tune all thew the course.

Launches like there is nothing on the back.

Needs a bigger carb and spray bar to handle the RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR's

10 1/2" is the sweet spot. can go shorter but need more carb and fuel to do it.

1/2" stinger is NOT to big!

96 deg and 80% humidity to day. No problem with power.

Time to build a new carb. This oval boar carb has the same area as a .635 round carb.

Need a spray bar bigger than 1/8" to feed it also.

Also need a bigger fuel tank.

the needle went from a 34 to a 28 setting on the BV meter and still took the plug on a good run.

Back to work.

O and that muffler sounds SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
