Nemesis Sponson Help

Im building the sponsons for my nemesis and came accross something that I'm not sure about. When attaching the bottom Sheeting how much over hang should there be ???

On my Nemesis I placed the bottom sheeting on with the keelson side of the sheeting just proud of the keelson by 1/32 or so to allow for the angle of the bottom when sanding. I then made up some West System epoxy and filler and made a fillet between the overhang and the side sheeting.
