Hydra 120 ESC Question

I just got a Castle Hydra 120 ESC for my Lynx Tunnel.

My Question is since I am using the UL-1 2030 Motor do I need to

set the timing on the ESC to 10 degrees or will the stock setting be good.

Joe, the stock UL-1 2030Kv motor with the aquacraft ESC is timed at 10 degrees. Just keep on eye on the prop size to the motor and esc temperatures. Good luck

The default "normal" setting will be fine. As with any boat, keep an eye on motor and ESC temps until you know the combination is okay.

I went ahead ans soldered my ESC directly to the Motor (No Bullet Connectors)

I have been wanting to do this so this will be my first try....

I downloaded the software from Castle and noticed the "Custom"

setting for timing so I can set it to 10 degrees.
