Iam building a Herb Stewert B Mod Boat and ive got some questions:

1. Iam using a DuBro Adjustable Engine Mount. Iam wondering where should i drill the holes/bolts? Would it be about the same as my Leescraft Boat? Almost at the top?

2. Where should i mount the Radio Box? As far forward as possiable, or towards the middle? And how do i calculate CG in a Tunnel Boat?

3. And for the cowling, will a Dumas Cowling work? This is the closest i found.

Heres the link: http://www.dumasestore.com/catalog/product...products_id=324

Thanks

Blake

A Dumas 7.5 cowl should work with minor modifications done to it. Mount your radio box as far forward as you can so you dont have to add as much weight for CG. CG should be about 8" to 8 1/2" from the rear of the sponsons. Set your motor so the center line of the prop shaft is even with the bottom of the sponsons with equal travel up and down. Your initial set up should be prop shaft about 1/8' above the bottom of the sponsons.

Scott;

Why don't you call Herb and ask him? May even have a cowl for you.

His cell is (352) 442-5923.
