Ron,

I guess you must be referring to Harts Lake. Even the Piedmont Prop Twisters lake becomes tight when boat speeds exceed 78 MPH. This is why we moved to Falls Lake. However, Falls Lake is so large that still water almost never happens. The new lake is surrounded by trees & its smaller size gives good water conditions. It is large enough for the bigger boats.
