I am going to include telemetry on my gas Slingshot build. I started with nitro in the 90's, and settled on FE hydros and riggers for quite a number of years (still active).
This will be my first gas boat.
I have a receiver with one port for temperature...should I monitor cylinder head or exhaust header temperature?

The leads on the temperature sensors for the HiTec Proton 4 are pretty short and I need to extend them.
Would it be better to cut and solder wire of the same gauge or build extension cables (but I can't find a matching connector)?
The HiTec connector seems to be the same connector as on my Sanwa telemetry sensors (which are also short).
The pitch on the 2-pin connectors seems to be 2.0/2.5 mm.
Anyone know who makes these connectors?
Pete

I'm looking for an extension cable with the small white connectors...I think they might be 2.0 or 2.5 mm JST.D8BCA500-C652-4CD8-8605-653FC2CA74F9.jpeg

Picked up a Sanwa TLS-01 Telemetry Logger System.
There is an optional PC interface transfer cable (SD-U01) and associated PC Management software.
Does anyone have a reference for the cable or a link to the PC software?

I have been using an MT-4 with telemetry for RC boat racing for years.
I recently acquired a TLS-01 data logger. I also managed to find the SD-U01 interface cable/hardware but I need the PC Manager software to load the data onto the PC and the download link on the Sanwa product page no longer works.
I also tried contact Serpent in Florida who apparently is now servicing Airtronics USA warranty products, but I can't seem to get a response.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Pete
