I bought a brand new CMB Quiet pipe from a friend this weekend and I want to confirm that it is a .45 size before making it a used pipe. The overall length is 16". The widest point is 1.94" diameter and the long muffled end is 1.5" diameter. Is this a .45 pipe? Going to try it on my NR 46 because I want to be under 82 db.

Also, inlet i.d. is .712". Stinger i.d. is .345".

Thanks.

Its a .45 pipe but I would open that stinger up. .375 will do the job
Cool, thanks!

I noticed the diameter of the divergent cone was larger by .2" than my NR muffled pipe, so I wondered. But the length of the divergent cone is exactly the same. My NR 46 muffled pipe works well, but I need to be super quiet next year. Db's ranged from 85 to 89 with the NR muffled pipe. Pretty good, but I want to be under 82 db. It's a different design than the NR 21 Quiet pipe. I'm starting to learn there are muffled pipes and then quiet pipes. :) I've seen NR 21 Quiet pipes run as low as 77db.
