just had a customer come in and say that his Blackjack rocks side to side when running. Has anyone come across this with others and what was the cure. Trim tabs would seem to be the typical cure but there is not much room to mount them. Any help would be appreciated.

If his prop is not sharpened and thinned it can cause this. I've seen quite a few guys with RTR boat using raw props.

bob,,, it may have alot to do with the setup,,,,, have him try trimming the stinger/prop shaft up a degree at a time... it could be that the prop angle is making the front of the v run to wet.... try to get it to lay back a little on the transom.... but like stated above a prop could cause this also.... one other thing to check is that the rudder is square/90 degrees to the ride surface,,,, if the rudder is tweaked it can cause major problems in the ride attitude.....yes trim tabs will help to a certain extent,,,, but im sure you dont need them on that if it didnt come factory with them......

hope this helps
