Just wanted to wish Marty Davis a Happy Birthday!!!
Marty helped me with my Road Runner .21 Rigger about 20 years ago. May have been my first race with a rigger, Celina, Ohio. Marty not only helped modify a prop along with some other tricks...
He also helped by acting as pitman when it was time to run that boat!! I was so excited and happy! First heat the boat was launched and ran SO FAST! Had the boat way on the other side of the lake. Marty yelled "Bring it in! the race is starting!" I said "I'm having too much fun just going fast!!" Figured I should get in the race. Not every day you get someone of Marty's prominence to help with a race!! Took second. Later had a runoff for second place over all. Thanks Marty! And, Happy Birthday!!!
