I had the pleasure of meeting Gene Adams at Legg Lake this morning. Being a relatively new gas boater, all I knew about him was what I had read here. He is a very entertaining and knowledgeable guy. And one heck of a craftsman too! Looking at all the one of a kind hardware on his boats, and his "bar stock" pipes, I thought he must be a master machinist too. But he said he used to hang drywall for a living. He took apart one of his pipes and explained how he built it way back when. It was a very informative morning spent with a very sharp gentleman.
