If you have silicone ramps in your engine you should use synthetic products as petroleum based oils eventually attacks the silicone.

So I've been told

What this guy said. I personally use synthetic ATF.... My engines have always stayed rust free and the silicone ramp has never come out of any of my engines.

Been using Klotz FogOn Storage and AfterRun Lubricant (KL-610) its in a spray can and foams as it hits the internals so gets in every where is working very well for me.
