anyone familiar with this hull ? does it run ? worth my time? supposed to be one boat turns out its an aeromarine, looks great not much work needed considering its older hull.
gary lesher in our district runs one, very fast, stays down on the water....not sure what he's done to it, but it runs great
i used to run one about 25 years ago.needs work on the sponsons.if it is your 1st 1/8 scale, put it together and have some fun. if you are looking to compete i would look for something else. mike.
To win with a dominant boat is one thing, to do so with an average or so so boat is totally another.
If you are interested in that boat, do it. The worst that can happen is it will sit on a shelf. That said, any boat can become dominant, it just takes time, testing and some work. If you're up for a challenge.........................
Key Word. The best thing to do is get the boat wet and run it and see how it performs some pics would be helpful also. There are a lot of rc boaters on here that will be willing to help you if you had some pics or video of it running. I have a miller american dumas kit that I have won some tropheys with and is not the fastest boat on the pond, but handles well and allways finishes its heats. Rc 90 boat
