Sport 40 & 1/8 Scale guys, hopefully Dennis will chime in and get those posted soon. I know who signed up with me for those classes and it was passed along to him but he has the complete list for these two classes. It's never too late to sign up. Let us know if want too, only catch is, your points will start at the race you sign up at. If I've missed anybody, please let me know and I'll get it corrected.

This is what the Points Series should look like at this point. It's not to late to change. These results were obtained from the records of both races. (There may be some math errors but you get the idea) It's as simple as recording all entrants at each race. The fact that we had to have entry fees so we could purchase prizes and trophies just killed participation. That effects entry at races. I have nothing to gain here. My concern goes to the health of the series and how it affects participation at races. Especially at 1 day contests. Use your entry fees to purchase awards for under 16 entrants in RTR. I'm not asking for it back. The money is not the issue for me. I would rather finish a series event 5th out of 20 than 1st out of only 2 entries. (Scale is not included as it has it's own set of rules for its' series.) D-14 High points for all entrants after 2 races

Mike For me it was not the cost, I know I will only be running 4 maybe 5 point series races and did not figure I would get enought points to matter.

Yea, I get that and I don't think the ten bucks itself kept anyone from signing up. Just that in the last few years it seems that just asking for money of any amount seems to turn people like yourself away. The thinking is (as you seem to be saying) why pay if I won't make the races? If it was done as all in (no fees), it wouldn't matter. If you look back at the previous years records the class winners almost never made all the races. I would bet that none of the entries in B Sport tunnel will make all the races!

Unfortunetly Rocky, yes, that is all that has signed up. I do believe Wes will be joining the Thunderboat class. Mike I understand your argument, I don't see how $10 could shy people away from entering. I along with others would like to see people rewarded for the hard work, effort and time traveling to and from these races. Dist4 charges the same thing we do, we're no different than them. Personally, I would like to see a points committee made up of at least one person per club in our District instead of one person, come together and figure out what we gotta do to make this work again. 5-6 heads are better than one. I've said before if the clubs pitch in a small fee per points race to help support the series, it would help. Let's get through this year and hopefully this is something EVERYBODY can pitch in ideas on and figure this out.
