    used scale boat

How much kissin' up to our wives does it take to pile all this money into these things? Just the other day I was getting rolled eyes from the wife about the CMB I want to buy

    Tunnel aerofoil design

just an offbeat thought- some airplane aerofoils have AOA stall points, I wonder if something similar could be designed into a tunnel?

    Tunnel aerofoil design

aeromarine research says: LA = [½ ρAV2 SA CLA] where: LA = air lift ρA = density of air V = velocity SA = surface area CLA = lift coefficient man I havent seen equations like this since highschool! anyone got a slide rule? Did anyone see the National Geographic documentary on...

    Tunnel aerofoil design

I've been starting a winter time boat project in cad, was curious if anyone ever tried a tunnel design with a further rearward aerodynamic center? By moving the lift back would it be less sensitive to blowovers? The AOA of the foil at approximate plane is just 3 to 4 degrees, as well as a...

I definitely like the idea of adding some form of aerodynamic control into the mix. Regarding r/c boat design and innovations has anyone noticed the rather small amount of plans available on the web? There are a few from rcboatmodeler, and a few here and there, however the number available is...

Man your reading my mind  I was discussing something similar with front accelerometer controlled stabilizers not too far back: http://www.intlwaters.com/index.php?showtopic=11882 how about dual servo stabilizers? one left, one right- could turn up one in a turn. :D

Is there some sort of limit or minimum height/width that defines a tunnel? what comes to mind is the Byrd Hornet, which I believe is a IMPBA legal tunnel. perhaps subclassifications for tunnelhulls could be similar to that of hydros- having outrigger hydros, and a scale/sport "tunneled" hydro...

IMHO i think hydrodynamically there is nothing much that can be done that has not already been done to tunnels I believe aerodynamically is where the innovation can occur

This is all I could find: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1833132/.../tm.htm#1833132 I'm curious as well how it performed, maybe more like a hydro outrigger?

Those pictures are all I found from some discussion group, will try to trace back where they came from.
