Not all these units have correct charge no matter what manu. says. Did you get a temp, pressure chart with unit. That would help you a lot. Still sounds like low charge.
Assuming a proper installation it sounds like it is undercharged. The low side is in the ball park because the txv is wide open trying to satisfy superheat. Was it a precharged unit. A lot of these do not have the proper charge especially with a long line set. High side pressure will be in the...

1/2 or even 3/8 flex gas line, the yellow ones, will work fine. Some utilities require an additional pressure regulator in addition to one on range. Don't use copper tubing!
Hollow core doors from HD or Lowe's work well. Not too expensive and you can pick nice straight ones. 5/8 sheetrock on an existing table also works well. Draw or write on it, cut patterns or whatever. Get's worn, replace it. Pretty cheap.
Looking for .20 Rossi outboard pipe, the unmuffled version,. This is the silver pipe, not black one. Doesn't have to be in prime shape, just uncut and usable.
The small carb is .307, large carb which came with my 7.5 three years ago, gold head, is .394. The large carb definitly makes a difference on top end but can be sluggish on slow starts.
