    Why Parallel LiPoly

Well, I had a nice talk to someone today that races in Canada and at CAFE and I now understand some things better. It seems that amps required to run Fast Electric boats kills NIMH cells, I kinda knew that one. In order to take full advantage of the power required one needs more ability to...

    IMPBA world records

If you don't drive it, your don't belong on the record. Anyone can buy parts, have someone put it together and have someone else drive it. What is this, the owner? Maybe we need an owner listed like NASCAR or something. Hey, I just bought world record. Last time I looked at any...

    IB3800 / IB3600

IB3800 / IB3600 update. Expect a 1% - 4% cell failure rate on un-tested cells. We are doing a simple test to make certain the cells are good before building packs and shipping cells. (no we are not picking out the best cells) The bad cells have an internal short that the factory is aware of but...

    Interesting find

I just received an interesting e-mail with large Lipoly cells like Kokam. 3200mAh,3900mAh and 4300mAh @ 20c. I have requested some samples to test and we may look for someone to try a pack in a boat or two. I'll keep everyone updated. The 4300 cells are 42.5mm wide, they should work. It...

Has anyone ever tried a 19T motor on 7 or 8 cells? I am thinking of setting up a Campbell hydro on 7 or 8 cells using a 19T direct drive with LiPoly. thanks, Steve

    Newest IB3600 cells

6 out of 8 of the new IB3600 cells are 1.2 @ 30 amps. The other two are 1.196 and 1.199. RT all above 450. 1st 8 cells out of the box! These cells are 2-3g lighter and smaller (diameter) than IB3800 and GP3700 cells. Of course, none of this may not matter for FE boats in the future, many...
