nothing wrong with these plugs, you run that risk everytime you run your engines, regardless of the plug manufacturer. There's not a plug made that won't drop an element

I run no less than 60%. Specs from Merlin say these are cold "boat" plugs on their website. At this price, they're worth trying, not quite as durable as McCoys. I see the website has an error, these are >30% nitro, as shown here- http://www.merlinglowplugs.biz/Merlin_Pric...et_byEngine.pdf
