mark- ok...so i got a little curious about what you were saying about shorting together 2 wires on a motor. so i tried it...the motor was harder to turn over by hand. i think that was your point, right? as a non-electrical guru (i know just enough to build my boats) what causes that to happen?

what prop are you currently running? i know of a few that work well on the cambell shovel, but they were being spun by an SS1, not an astro.

i don't know of anyone personally who's run one, but i know that sport 20 hulls are becoming popular with some of the guys for P-sport hydro. the Phil Thomas 21 is a rocket on 12 cells and a good motor. i've seen snowman's PT21 go on a neu motor and the thing is scary fast. it's wierd for me...

i'll be on channel 68 for n2mono and LSH. doug will be letting me run his p-offshore, and that boat is on 2.4ghz. i think my only problem may be the fact that i have one astro charger to charge all the cells with...i made it work at the classic, i think i can pull it off again!

if you're talking about the fuller's turn fin that steve carries, you won't have to sharpen it. the problem is the fact that it's a straight fin, no bend. an aluminum fin would allow you to put a bend into it. i don't know of any carbon fins that come pre-bent.

i want mine soon! after seeing it go at Mazo i was super impressed with the quality. if i had the cash for it now i'd get one for CAFE to run in P-offshore. it's going to be an awesome boat for newcomers to cut their teeth on.
