Hmmmmm....sounds fishy! You don't take an SG to a Hobby shop in Atlanta and find those kind of details. They just don't know. They don't buy anything from us.

I never saw Larry Kent's (Atlanta club member) Gas SG, but I do know it was stolen recently along with some other boats.

Anyone here know Larry's boats?

Well guys sometimes you need to be on the recieving end of those cars.I work for a salvage yard and tow those lovely cars away and I can tell you some stories as to the contents of those cars.Especially the impounded ones.Ive found everything from Rc cars,guns,sex toys,money,cameras,and oh a hole lotta tools.I even found a shoe with the foot still attached but missing the rest of the leg.I had a tow once at the local impound that had a car with a whole back seat loaded with wrapped Christmas presents!!You would be seriously supprised whats in trunks.Ide love to have found my Rigger in the trunk rather than had to pay for it,trust me if my SGX dissapeared pics would be all over the place.

There must be a lot of thefts lately in the southern states. Here's one that happened recently in Florida: Thefts It doesn't look like they grabbed any boats though.

This guy knows more about boats than he is saying. "Gas rigger" Why would he differentiate ? Gas, Nitro??

To him it should be a Boat or Hydroplane at best. If some guy in an Atlanta hobby shop knew enough to tell him such things as the Value ($3000) which is darn close, then that guy would probably know the Atlanta club members enough to know this boat.

This boat was stolen 2-3 months ago.

That boat was the first or second SGX. We built it ready to run for John Gray of Alabama about 3 1/2 years ago.

Me and John ran 92 mph with that boat at the Valdosta pond with the J&G that I modified.

Larry bought the boat from Mr. Gray.

I believe paint is still original as we delivered it to Mr. Gray.

There are a few addresses in another auction he has on E-Bay.A home.I'm sure not his house,but it would get the police closer to him.
