Hi Paul,

I did not get to run the Villain S1 at this event as they do not run a sport Tunnel class at this meeting.. However, we did have the boat and Trophy at the race just for show.. that trophy is cool..

I did however run the Nemesis and got a win with that... On Sunday we drove to MN to race with the TCMBC.. There i ran the Villain in both Sport and Mod and made short work of the guys with wins in both classes.. the first heat was the first time i got to drive the boat this year..hehehee. it ran just like it did last year.. fantastic..

Lots of fun and lots of driving...630 miles total to get to and from both events.

Congrats to The WWW for hosting a great race and BTY they have “GREAT” Night Life over there..

ROCK ON

Grim

Thanks guys! we all had a great time too. The weather could have been better, but we got three rounds in, while dancing between the rain drops.

Special thanks goes out to Craig and Garret, they did a lot of the prework and planning.

And, cross your fingers, we should have our own site for next year!

Thanks everyone. We really worked hard to put on the race, since there only six of us, but we are just glad to have one more race on the D4 schedule. The weather held out for the most part, and JOHN EQUI got the parks deparment all straightened out (really did a fantastic job)...all in all it was a good 1st race for D4.

We had 60 boats show up in 11 classes, here are the results:

We had an array of boats from a 40 tunnel to a F Hydro. Many boats fell before the feature, and when all was said and done, Pete Collinson from the Quad City Club came out with the traveling trophy for 2005. Way to go Pete.

See ya in St. Louis.
