Stripped screw

What is the best way to get a stripped screw out of a motor? it is an allen head and it has a littlebit of bit left but not enough to grab. can i take and solder an allen to the head and then screw it out?

If it is a head bolt or some thing like that you can drill the head off and then after taking the head off there should be enough of the screw left to grab ahold of with pliers and turn it out you may need to put some flats on it . once the head is gone it should turn rightout . Scott
